Brownsburg, Ind. (June 19, 2019) – Belardi Auto Racing is heading to its home track this weekend at Road America for Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires action, with a singular focus on winning.
Road America has been a very successful track for Lucas Kohl in the lower series of the Road to Indy, scoring 2 podiums in the Cooper Tires USF2000 category. Kohl is looking to take his knowledge of the 14 turn road course into this weekend, and turn it into a positive result for his No. 5 team.
“I’m looking forward to getting back in the car at Road America where I scored my first podium in USF2000, and always seemed to have good success. I believe in our team, and really think we can be in the top 5 this weekend if not on the podium,” said Lucas Kohl.
Aaron Telitz returns to his home track this weekend a veteran having raced in Indy Lights competition twice at Road America. Telitz has found his way to the podium at Road America before and is hoping for the same result this weekend.
“I can’t wait to get down to Elkhart Lake this weekend. It’s my favorite weekend of the summer. I couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity to drive for Belardi Auto Racing in my home race, and I’m ready to put on a show in front of my hometown crowd,” said Aaron Telitz.
