Belardi Auto Racing is back racing in the Midwest, this time on the 15 turn Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for rounds 12 & 13 of the Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires championship.
Wisconsin native and Road To Indy veteran, Aaron Telitz, will be driving the No. 4 Dallara IL-15 with Motiv8 Sports Group and Outlaw Energy adorning the car. Telitz had a tough go of things last year at Mid-Ohio, but is hoping to carry his newfound momentum from Toronto to Ohio.
“I’m very appreciative of Motiv8 Sports Group, Outlaw Energy and Belardi Auto Racing for making this happen. I think this will be a good weekend for me and my Belardi boys as we come off the momentum from Toronto. I’m just excited to get in the car and get the weekend going,” said Aaron Telitz
Series rookie has had success as well at Mid-Ohio with 2 second place finishes in the USF2000 series in 2018. Kohl and his No. 5 team also came to Mid-Ohio last week for a series test and they have found some things that will help them during the race weekend.
“I’m very confident we can have a good weekend. We had a good test where I was able to learn a lot from the car and the track. I hope I can put it all to use and fight up front,” said Lucas Kohl.
The weekend gets rolling on July 26th with practice and qualifying for the Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires series, followed by the final qualifying session and 1st race of the weekend on July 27th. The weekend will be wrapped up on July 28th with the final race going green at 12:45pm.
